Demands of medical devices like patient monitor, diagnostic ECG, and blood gas chemistry analyzer arose sharply due to the sudden increase in hospital admissions for respiratory illnesses cases caused by 2019-nCoV. Combating the outbreak, EDAN organized forces to guarantee sufficient supplies, the production capacity and the safety of our employees.
Starting from January 25, the supply chain has returned from holiday for production and logistics. The service team resolved surging clients’ problems 24/7. EDAN’s offices in 28 cities were back to their role and helped to complete the installation. Nearly ten thousand medical devices were dispatched and installed within one week.
The devices have been sent to the coronavirus designated hospitals, including Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, the First People’s Hospital of Jiangxia, Tianyou Hospital Affiliated to Wuhan University of Science & Technology, Hubei Provincial Hospital of Integrated Chinese & Western Medicine, and many other hospitals in China.
Apart from fulfilling the increasing demands in China, the demands from overseas are also taken seriously. “The delivery process will not be affected.
